The Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree introduces students to a deeper level of understanding in areas of theology and ministry. The purpose of this program is to solidify and strengthen the scriptural base of those heading for seminary or vocational ministry. The Biblical Exposition emphasis strengthens the student’s ability to properly interpret and apply God’s Word by considering the philosophy and interpretation of believers from the past and the present. REQUIREMENTS

  • Credits: 36 credit hours must be completed before graduation.
  • Transferring Credits: Transfer credits are limited to a maximum of nine credit hours. Only those credits which carry a grade of a "B-" average or above at the Graduate level may be considered.
  • Language Requirement: Candidates for the Biblical Studies degree must have completed a minimum of one year of Greek. Candidates lacking this prerequisite will be required to make this up as a deficiency.

PREREQUISITES

  • Bachelor’s Degree: All Candidates for this program must have completed a recognized bachelor's program and show evidence of holding a bachelor’s degree with a grade averaged of no less than a “B-” average. Any applicant having less than a “B-” average will be considered and placed on a probationary status through his first two semesters.
  • Admission: All application forms must be completed before full acceptance is granted.
